These terms ("Terms") are between you and SalariQ, a product operated by 61WEB ("SalariQ", "we", "us", "our"). By using our website, tools and reports (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. These Terms don't exclude any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. The Service & your account
- SalariQ provides salary benchmarking, AI-generated reports and related tools for the Australian market. We may update, change or discontinue parts of the Service.
- You must be at least 18 to create an account, and provide accurate, current information.
- You're responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use at support@salariq.io.
2. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not: scrape, data-mine, reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service or its data; probe or breach security; create accounts by automated or fraudulent means; upload malware; or use the Service to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or abuse fair-use limits.
3. AI features & no professional advice
Reports and the Pay Coach are generated with AI from your inputs and real benchmark data. They are information and assistance only — not financial, legal, tax or career advice, and not a guarantee of any pay rise, offer or outcome. Figures are estimates and may not fit your exact circumstances. You're responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any output. See our Disclaimer.
4. Payments & subscriptions
- Prices are in AUD and inclusive of GST — the price shown is what you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you accept Stripe's terms.
- Single reports are one-off purchases, unlocked and generated immediately.
- Subscriptions (Professional / Power) include a 7-day free trial and then renew automatically at the then-current price each period until you cancel. No charge is made during the trial if you cancel before it ends.
- Cancelling — cancel any time in your billing settings or the Stripe portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then; no further charges apply.
- Price changes — we'll give advance notice before a renewal at a new price. Continuing after the change means you accept it.
5. Refunds
Your Australian Consumer Law rights come first. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the ACL. If there's a major failure you're entitled to a refund or to cancel; for minor problems we'll fix the issue. Nothing below limits those rights.
- Single reports are delivered instantly, so outside your ACL rights they're generally non-refundable once the report has been generated. If a report fails to generate, isn't as described, or you were charged in error, contact us and we'll refund or regenerate it.
- Extra credits — additional reports and Pay Coach message top-ups you buy follow the same rule: once a credit is used (a report generated, a message sent) it's non-refundable except under the ACL. Purchased top-ups don't expire and roll over while your plan is active. If you bought credits you haven't used and change your mind, contact us and we'll review a refund of the unused balance in good faith.
- Subscriptions — because of the 7-day free trial you can try before you pay. After a paid period begins, fees already charged aren't refunded for the unused part of that period, but you can cancel to stop all future charges. If you were charged after cancelling, or there's a billing error, we'll put it right.
- Goodwill — if something genuinely went wrong, email us; we review fairly on a case-by-case basis and would rather you were happy than out of pocket.
To request a refund, email support@salariq.io with the email on your account and the reason. We aim to respond within a few business days.
6. Your content & data
You keep ownership of what you enter (your role details, figures, notes, Pay Coach messages). You grant us a limited licence to use it solely to provide and improve the Service for you. Reports you generate are yours to use for your own negotiations; you may not resell or redistribute them. You can request a copy of your data or its deletion at privacy@salariq.io — see the Privacy Policy. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to build market benchmarks; it is never sold and never identifies you.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its content, reports and software, and all intellectual property in them, are owned by SalariQ / 61WEB and our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service. The "SalariQ" name and marks are ours; don't use them without permission. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely without obligation.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (e.g. Stripe, authentication, hosting, AI and analytics providers). Your dealings with them are subject to their terms, and we're not responsible for third-party services we don't control. We don't guarantee their continued availability.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we don't warrant it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the accuracy or completeness of benchmarks (every report shows a Data Confidence Score), or any employment or negotiation outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the ACL that can't lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits or data. Where our liability can be limited under the ACL, it's limited (at our option) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply. Otherwise our total liability arising out of these Terms is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD $100.
11. Suspension & termination
You can stop using the Service or delete your account any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (content/data, IP, disclaimers, liability, refunds and governing law) survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. (Your non-excludable ACL rights and access to consumer dispute bodies are unaffected.)
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date and, where appropriate, notified through the Service. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
